About our Cider
The process of making apple cider begins with selecting high-quality apples which are then thoroughly washed. The apples are ground into pomace, and the juice is extracted through pressing. This fresh cider is then transferred to a bulk tank to be cooled, from there it passes by an ultraviolet light to ensure safety and preserve freshness without the need for added preservatives. This method highlights the natural flavors of the apple making possible the production of pure, preservative-free cider.
The process of making Flavored apple cider begins the same as our regular Apple Cider. Then just before filling the bottles, we add a flavoring oil to the Cider.
2024's Flavor is Blackberry
Our Flavored ciders do not have any preservatives, the same as our regular Cider if it is not kept refrigerated it will begin the fermentation process eventually becoming vinegar.
About our Apple Cider Vinegar
The process of creating vinegar from apple juice is a fascinating process of fermentation, where sugars are converted into alcohol by yeast and then into acetic acid by bacteria. The slow two-year journey from apple to bottle allows for a complex flavor development, resulting in a product that's rich and robust. This traditional method, often referred to as the "Orleans process," is revered for producing high-quality vinegar with distinct taste profiles that are appreciated in culinary applications worldwide.
New Item!
Our Cider syrup is both sweet, and tart, just like an apple! It is simply a reduction of apple cider, no extra sugars or preservatives added–just apples!
We start with apples, (washing, grinding, pressing) then we cook the apple juice on a huge woodfired cooker to a delicious sticky syrup. There is no added sugar or any preservatives to spoil the pure apple goodness
